William P. Nerhus, 83, of Fargo, North Dakota, died January 26, 2023, in Bethany on 42nd. He was born November 11, 1939 in Fargo, ND, to Paul T. Nerhus and Mildred (Muhly) Nerhus.

Bill grew up in Fargo, ND and graduated from Fargo Central in 1957. He attended North Dakota State School of Science in Wahpeton, ND for two years. William graduated from NDSU in 1966. He served in the Army National Guard from 1957 to 1963. He worked in the food service at the VA Hospital in Fargo, retiring in 2011. William was a ham radio operator and was a life long member of First United Methodist Church in Fargo.

William is survived by cousins Carolyn Moe, Minneapolis, MN, Mary Downing, Port Washington, WI and James Muhly, Athens, Greece.
