Obituary

William H. Hampson, 69, of Twin Valley, Minnesota, died February 5, 2013 at Essentia Hospital in Ada MN. He was born July 16, 1943 in Fargo, North Dakota, the son of William Harold Hampson Sr. and Louise Feltus Hampson. He was in the food industry for over 40 years, working for such places as Kraft, Fairway Foods and Sysco.

He was preceded in death by his wife Dona Kay Mattson Hampson of 44 years; parents, William (Shorty) Hampson and Louise Feltus Hampson; son , Troy William Hampson; sisters, Susan Hampson, Sharon Hampson and Delores Hampson; and great grandchild, MiKayla Ann Hampson.

William is survived by his children: daughter, Debra Joy Rudrud of Rogers, Arkansas; son, Anthony John Hampson and wife Barb of Hawley, Minnesota; daughter, Brenda Lee Hughes and her husband Michael of Twin Valley, Minnesota; daughter, Billi Jo Hampson of Bradenton, Florida; brothers, Kenneth Feltus, Jerry Hampson, Gordy Hampson, and Richard Hampson, all of Fargo, North Dakota; sisters, Jeanette Baron and Mavis Brown both of Fargo, North Dakota; eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Family was William’s whole life. He lived for his children, good friends, and good old country music. Spending time with his family and friends and golfing, made his day. He always said, “When you’re good, good things happen.” He will be missed dearly.
