Wesley G. Hoaby, 73, of Fargo, ND, died Wednesday, August 5, 2009, at MeritCare Hospital, Fargo. Wesley Gene Hoaby was born December 31, 1935, at Fargo, North Dakota, son of Benard and Josephine (Urness) Hoaby. He grew up and attended Fargo schools. Wesley served in the U.S. Army. He worked his entire career as an orderly at the Fargo Veterans Administration Hospital. Wesley played steel guitar and guitar in several bands in the Fargo area. He loved animals. Wesley is survived by his brother, Benjamin Hoaby, Jamestown, ND; and seven sisters, Beverly (Henry) Schroeder, Sun City West, AZ; Audrey (Tom) Oliver, Dilworth, MN; Lila (Harold) Unruh, Fargo, ND; Barbara (Neil) Harbison, Tulsa, OK; Clare (Elmer) Mueller, Fargo, ND; Sandy (James) Reynolds, Fargo, ND; Kathleen (Harvey) Bruse, Fargo, ND. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother and a sister. Memorial Service: Saturday, August 8, 2009, at 10:00 AM, at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, Fargo, ND.
