Warren Wenzel was born March 5, 1935 in Eureka, SD. He grew up in Austin, MN, and graduated from Austin High School in 1953. He attended Austin Junior College, graduating in 1955. That same year, Warren married Joanne Guyette in Austin. They raised 3 children together. Warren was a member of the National Guard, and also worked in sales. Warren was very proud of his children, even more so, his grandchildren. He enjoyed singing, woodworking and spending time at the lake.

Warren passed away at Sanford Health in Fargo, on Saturday, July 13, 2013.

He is survived by his wife, Joanne; daughters, Julie (Jim) Knutson, and Diane (Matt Anderson) Ross; son, Steven (Kriston) Wenzel; six grandchildren, Thomas and Randy Knutson; Matthew and Benjamin Wenzel; and Gabriel and Grayce Ross; brothers, Rodney Wenzel and David (Sharon) Wenzel; and sisters, Arlene (Bob) Borchard, and Judith (Don) DeYoung. He was preceded in death by his parents.
