Virginia A. Anderson, 81, of West Fargo, ND, died Thursday, June 11, 2009, at Innovis Hospital, Fargo. Virginia Ann Kortie was born December 26, 1927, in Verona, North Dakota, daughter of Fred and Julia (Josal) Kortie. She grew up and graduated from Verona High School. Virginia married Ray Anderson of Walcott, North Dakota, December 22, 1951. Virginia worked at Red Owl warehouse as office manager from 1954 – 1989, when she retired. Virginia is survived by her two granddaughters and one grandson, Julie (Mike) Anderson, West Fargo, ND; Tara Williams, Pace, FL; and Adam (Jessica) Anderson, Pace, FL; great-grandchildren, Kelsie, Cassandra, Amanda, Blake, Brandon and Hunter. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ray; son, John; brothers, Jack and Donald; and sister, Margie. Funeral Service: Tuesday, June 16, 2009, at 1:00 PM, at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, Fargo, ND. Visitation: One hour prior to the service at Hanson-Runsvold. Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fargo, ND.
