Violet Jenner, 86, of Fargo, ND, died Thursday, May 22, 2008, at Rosewood on Broadway, Fargo. Violet Grenz was born November 2, 1921, in Ardis, South Dakota, to Bert and Emma Grenz. She graduated from Ellendale High School in 1940, and went on to get her teaching certificate at the Ellendale NI and taught in country schools. In 1943, she married Earl Jenner. They lived in Merricourt, North Dakota, until 1962, when they moved to Bismarck. She worked at The Baptist Nursing Home, until she retired. Following the death of her husband in 1989, she lived in Anchorage, AK. She then moved to Fargo, making her home at Riverview Place, and has been residing at Rosewood on Broadway for the last eight years. Violet is survived by daughters, Suzon Mejia, Anchorage, AK; and Valerie (Ron) Johnson, Fargo, ND; and one son, Bradley Jenner, Anchorage, AK; two sisters, June (Keith) Stevens, Mission, TX; and Cora (Glenn) Hayes, Jamestown, ND; eight grandchildren; and one great grandchild. Funeral Service: Tuesday, May 27, 2008, at 2 PM, at Hanson Runsvold Funeral Home, Fargo, ND. Visitation: Monday, May 26, 2008, from 5 to 7 PM, at Hanson Runsvold Funeral Home, Fargo, ND. Burial: Wednesday, May 28, 2008, at 11 AM, at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Bismarck, ND.
