Victor Alfred Pfarr passed away peacefully June 24, 2026 at the age of 88, at Essentia Hospital Fargo, ND.

Vic was born August 9, 1937 on the family farm in Windsor, ND to Alfred and Helen (Erickson) Pfarr the youngest of 3 children. He went to school though grade 8 and promptly went to work.

He worked in many fields, but mostly plastering and stuccoing homes throughout North and South Dakota. He also worked as a janitor in the Jamestown Public Schools for 29 years retiring in 2010.

He married Sharon Gusaas on August 21, 1965 and together they raised their children on the family farm. After the death of their daughter Holly they adopted her daughter Angel Beth, and raised her. They celebrated their 55th Anniversary shortly before Sharon's passing in 2020.

He is survived by his children, Glenn (Burnette), Fargo, ND, Travis, Gardiner, ME, Wade (Tracey), Fargo, ND and Angel of Fargo, ND; a sister, Ione Spotts of Bismarck, ND, and a sister-in-law, Wanda (Steve) Kurtz of Sewell, NJ; 16 grandchildren; and numerous great & great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Sharon; his brother, Richard; sons, Kelly and Brian; daughters, Renee and Holly; and 2 grandchildren, Daniel and Jennifer.

The family would like to thank HIA Hospice, the staff at Bethany Homes on University and the staff at Essentia Hospital for the care shown Victor at the end of his life.A small private service will be held at a later date.
