Vera Madsen, 89, of Fargo, ND, passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at Edgewood Vista in Fargo.

Vera Jane Fox was born on January 21, 1933 to Henry and Lorena (Greibel) Fox in Pillsbury, ND.

Vera married Carl "Bunny" Madsen on March 17, 1951 at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Fargo, ND. They made their home in Fargo where they were lifelong residents. She worked at NDSU for many years in housekeeping.

Vera enjoyed bowling and was always full of laughter. She was a crafter and a painter and loved their neighborhood parties. She enjoyed being around her friends and was most definitely a people person. Vera loved her dogs, her most recent one being Striker. She also enjoyed her doll collection.

Vera is survived by one sister, Norma Asp; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl "Bunny" Madsen; and four sisters, Margaret Hull, Mildred Walters, Marjorie Ogden and Lucille Weil.

Graveside Service: 5pm, Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fargo, ND. Visitation: 5:30pm-6:30pm, Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, Fargo, ND.
