Timothy L. Chartier was born February 17, 1953 in Valley City, ND to parents Theodore and Louise (Koslofsky). He passed away at the age of 63 on April 21, 2016 at his home in Fargo.

Tim made his career in trucking and was a city bus driver in Fargo and also drove semi for many years. He and Marilyn knew each other for over 30 years before they married on October 24, 2010. They made their home in Fargo.

Tim always had a joke to tell and loved to make Marilyn laugh. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping, and staying in touch with his friends. Tim will be remembered as a fun-loving, caring and thoughtful person. He had a great love for his family, nieces and nephews, and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Marilyn of Fargo; son, Shane Albright of Dilworth, MN; daughter, Celeste Carlson of Fargo; grandchildren, Bradyn, Gauge, Karsten, Soren, and Makai; sisters, LouAnn Dutt, Gloria Roebuck, and Renae Olson, along with brother-in-law, Robert Olson.

Tim was preceded in death by his father, Theodore Chartier; mother, Louise Chartier-Loberg; step-father, Leslie Loberg and brother, Wayne Chartier.
