Theresa (Civilla) White, 80, of Fargo, ND, died Tuesday, February 14, 2012, in Touchmark, Fargo, under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley. Theresa Katherine Civilla was born June 3, 1931, in Fargo, North Dakota, the only daughter of the six children of Joseph and Maddalena Civilla. She graduated from Fargo Central High School and lived in: Fargo; Minneapolis, Minnesota; Long Beach, CA and Golden Valley, Minnesota and worked at the University of Minnesota bookstore for 25 years before retiring. She lived a very simple life and had a great love for her family. She delighted in cooking Italian food for everyone who wanted to taste her special recipes. Theresa is survived by her three children, Maureen (Terry) Moore, Lee’s Summit, MO; Kathleen (Bob) Schmieler, Strongsville, OH; and Kevin Nagle, El Dorado Hills, CA; grandchildren, Chad Moore, Huntington Beach, CA; Dustin Moore, Lee’s Summit, MO; Travis (Jessica) Moore, Lee’s Summit, MO; Kelly (Greg) Eterovich, Strongsville, OH; Traci (Sean) Grandage, Brunswick, OH; Jessica Schmieler, Strongsville, OH; Lindsay and Haley Nagle, El Dorado Hills, CA; great-grandson, Tyler Moore, Lee’s Summit, MO; and great-granddaughter, Aisley Eterovich, Strongsville, OH; brother, Louis Civilla, Fargo, ND; a niece, Linda (Lee) Massey, Detroit Lakes, MN; nephew, Steven (Debora) Civilla, Henderson, NV; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her best friend and partner, Gordon Frank Gertz, Golden Valley, MN; and brothers, Joseph, James, John, and Anthony.
