Steven Henry Geist was born May 5, 1969 in Fargo, ND to Donald and Bonnie (Christensen) Geist. He grew up in Kindred, ND and West Fargo. He received his GED from the Adult Learning Center in West Fargo. He worked several years at Rusco Windows and his latest job was at Asplin Excavating. He worked many years at Stop-N-Go part time and during winter months when he would get laid off, he would work for Valley Bus driving school bus for West Fargo.

Steven died Saturday, October 24, at Essentia Health in Fargo. He had severe asthma.

Steven is survived by his mother, Bonnie (Lynn) Fischer; his sister, Sue Anderson and her two boys, Trevor (Sara) and Ryan; his brother, Scott Geist (Shelley) and their two children, Preston and Elizabeth; many aunts, uncles and cousins; and last but not least, his best friend, his dog, Lilly. Steven is preceded in death by his father, Donald; both grandparents, and aunts and uncles.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family.
