Steven Fisher

Steve Fisher, 69, passed away on October 27, 2025 at Methodist Hospital in St Louis Park, MN.

Steven Scott Fisher was born December 21, 1955 in Bemidji, Minnesota to Gene & Beverly (Bakke) Fisher. With his family, he lived in Bemidji, Thief River Falls, Montevideo, Minneapolis, Brooklyn Center and Fargo. He graduated from Fargo South in 1974. Before long, he returned to Minneapolis, the place he was happiest.

He made his living in sales, working at Wing Wholesale Electronics, ATM Guy and Comcast.

In his younger years, he was a talented athlete, especially baseball, and he was an ardent fan of sports, especially the Minnesota Twins and Vikings. He loved old movies and TV shows and could endlessly give quotes from both. Throughout his life he loved spending time with friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, uncles and aunts. He is survived by his mother Bev (Fargo), sister Susan and Dave Wee (Winston-Salem, North Carolina), sister Nancy (Fargo), brother Chuck Fisher and Zhao-Ping Zhu (El Monte, California), niece Kate and Jesse Score (Winston-Salem, North Carolina), niece Luna Zhu and Thomas Long (Findlay, Ohio), great-nephew Elliott Score, aunt Peggy Fisher (West Fargo), cousins and many life-long friends, especially Scott Sleight and Richard Anderson.

A private burial will be held.
