Stanley Westgard

Stanley B. Westgard, 75, of Moorhead, MN died Monday, June 20, 2011 at Golden Living Center, Moorhead, MN. Stanley was born on November 4, 1935 to Victor and Alma (Ekness) Westgard in Rugby, ND. He attended Rugby High School. He married Collette Robinson on September 13, 1976 in Rugby, ND. They resided in Rugby and Fargo until her death in 1997. Stanley became a resident of Golden Living Center in 2005. Stanley was the Resident Head Chairperson at Golden. He was known as a jokester and professional television watcher. He particularly liked the challenges of game shows. He is survived by brothers, Milton (Evelyn) Westgard, Bismarck, ND, Les (Pat) Westgard, Fargo, ND, and Dennis (Sue) Westgard, Westbury, NY; sister, Viola Kraft, Bismarck, ND; special sister-in-law, Odella (Lyle) Marchus, Fargo, ND and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents and brother, Duaine. Memorial Service: Thursday, June 23, 2011, 7:00 PM at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, Fargo, ND. Visitation: 5-7pm, Thursday, at Hanson-Runsvold. Memorials are preferred to Golden Living Center Auxiliary or Marker Lutheran Church Cemetery Fund.
