Robert “Bruno” Ludtke, 83, of Enderlin, ND, died Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at his home in Enderlin.

Robert Earl Ludtke was born June 17, 1931 to Floyd and Beatrice (Maley) Ludtke. He grew up and attended school in Enderlin, graduating from Enderlin High School. Bruno spent his entire life in Enderlin, farming with his father for many years. He later worked at Morry’s Supper Club, managed the VFW, and maintained the golf course grounds for several years. He also served on the City Council and the Church Council for First Lutheran. He married Donna Roney in 1968.

Bruno enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening, and especially his daily coffee with friends.

Bruno is survived by three step-children, Lynn (Jan) Spiekermeier, Enderlin, ND; David (Pauline) Spiekermeier, Cedar Rapids, IA; Paula (Dan) Aspelund, Shakopee, MN; six step-grandchildren and ten step-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna, of 44 years.
