Robert "Red" Broline age 69, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2023, at his home in Leonard, North Dakota.

Robert was born on December 27, 1953, to John and Margaret (Belfield) Broline.

Robert was raised in Cedar Falls, Iowa, where he graduated high school, after which he pursued a career in welding, working at Case in Fargo, ND, for many years.

Robert was someone who enjoyed helping others. He loved to play pool and joke around. He didn't let leukemia bring him down. He was always outside, still enjoying time with friends and his German Shepherd, Irma.

Although his battle with AML was short, he didn't let it stop him from enjoying life and also living it to the fullest.

Robert is survived by his children, Jana Broline, Melody (Lee) Vancleef; sister, Jean Frigen; nieces, Lona Ford, Lynette Bradford Robinson; and special friend, Colleen Scarlett.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Margaret Broline; his brother, Richard Broline; his niece, Lori Stevens; his son, Dazmon Kirkeby.

A visitation from 1-2 will be held on Thursday, September 28, 2023, at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, 215 7th Street South, Fargo, ND. There will be a Funeral Service to follow.
