Richard Lee Kemmer, 87, Fargo, ND, died January 23, 2013 at Villa Maria. Richard was born August 12, 1925 to Jesse and Minnie Kemmer, in Fargo, ND. He served in the Navy during WW II.

Richard married Marian Fenstad on August 13, 1966 in Fargo, ND. He worked for Burlington Northern Railroad for 44 years. Richard was a member of the American Legion for 50+ years. He loved to drive to Vegas with Marian every year, taking many different routes. He loved the game of cribbage and pinochle with family. He will be deeply missed and loved.

Richard was preceded in death by his wife, Marion, his parents, four brothers, Bill, Jack, Thomas, and Jerry Kemmer; and sister, Jean.

Richard is survived by one brother, James, Deltona, FL; his god-daughter, Claudia Bergen, and many nieces and nephews.

Richard’s Funeral Service is being held Thursday, January 31, 2013 at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, Fargo.
