Dick Leverson, 94, of Fargo, North Dakota, passed away Monday, February 2, 2026, peacefully under the care of Hospice.
Richard (Dick) Arlen Leverson was born in Fargo, North Dakota on March 5, 1931, to C.O. & Bessie (Moe) Leverson. He attended Roosevelt Middle School, and graduated from Fargo Central High School in 1949.
He served in the US Air Force from 1951 through 1954, stationed at Fairchild Air Force Base, Spokane, Washington.
Dick married Bev Hanson on August 11, 1962 at Perry Lutheran Church in rural Portland, North Dakota. He was a lifelong Fargo resident.
Dick graduated from North Dakota State University (NDAC at the time) 1958 with a Bachelor of Architecture degree, and was a Registered Architect. He worked at several architecture offices in Fargo, retiring from R.L. Engebretson Architects.
Dick and family are lifelong members of First Lutheran Church in downtown Fargo. Dick's love of music, aircraft, airshows, and Bison Athletics is well known. He loved his church, and his immediate and extended family, including the dogs.
Dick is survived by his wife of 63 years, Bev, Fargo, ND; son, Dan (Peggie) Leverson of Louisville, KY; daughter, Tracy (Tom) Clow of Fargo, ND, and grandsons Owen and Quinn Leverson of Louisville, KY; Ivan (DJ) Clow, New York City, NY; Anders (Lauren) Clow of Fargo, ND; and great-granddaughters, Mackenzie and Molly Clow of Fargo, ND.
He is also survived by brother, Chet (Betty) Leverson, Fargo, ND; and brother-in-law, Dave Teigen of Fargo, ND; and so many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Dick was preceded in death by his parents, C.O. and Bessie Leverson, Fargo, ND; sister, Bev Hoff; brother-in-law, Goodwin Hoff, Fargo, ND; and sisters, Soni Tiegen, Fargo, ND and Julie (Charles) Johnson, New York Mills, MN.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, February 9, 2026 at First Lutheran Church, Fargo with a visitation one hour prior. Burial at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fargo, ND.
Memorials are preferred to First Lutheran Church, Fargo, ND, and in memory of Dick to any charity of your choice.
The family wishes to thank the loving caregivers at St. Catherine's North, especially Carmen and Lisa, his most special friends. His last days were also supported by the amazing people at HIA Hospice.
