We her loved ones, extended family, and friends celebrate the amazing and unique sojourn of Phyllis Jean Teich. Phyllis had remarkable qualities, character traits, and an appealing personality establishing a place for her to belong.
Phyllis was born in Jamestown, North Dakota on February 4, 1949.
She is survived by her sister, Carol Teich Sipsock.
She was preceded in death by her father, E.R. Teich, D.V.M., and her mother, Freda Teich, R.N.
In 1965, Phyllis, her sister Carol, and mother, Freda moved to Fargo so that Phyllis had the opportunity to continue her education. She graduated from Fargo North High School in 1968. Phyllis had the opportunity to work at McDonalds for 18 years. At McDonalds she made many friends, including her long-time faithful companion, Stanley Lewandowski.
Phyllis was an avid sports fan for the home teams: Fargo North Spartans, North Dakota State University Bison teams, and the Minnesota Vikings! Every Sunday she enjoyed tuning in to the service from First Lutheran Church.
Most of all, Phyllis loved socializing and eating out at restaurants.
Her sister, Carol Sipsock extends an in-depth and sincere gratitude for those who contributed to her sister’s well-being: Stanley Lewandowski, Nancy LaFrombois, Bob Berdahl, Carolyn Kittelson, Lacey Pratt, and others from Community Living Services.
There will be a 9:30 AM graveside service Friday, July 18, 2025 at Riverside Cemetery as hosted by Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home.
