Phyllis A. Ostbye, 69, of Fargo, ND, died Sunday, September 14, 2014 at her home in Fargo.
Phyllis Ann Brummond was born August 10, 1945 to Ervin and Leone (Snyder) Brummond in Truman, MN. When Phyllis was young, the family moved to the Bemidji area. They moved many times throughout the years, with Phyllis attending school for the longest period in Roseau, MN.

Phyllis later went to Business School in Fargo, receiving her Associates Degree. She raised her children in West Fargo, and later moved to Minneapolis for a short time before returning.
Phyllis was a huge fan of sports, of which football was probably her favorite. She enjoyed crocheting and reading, and will always be remembered for the big heart that she had for her children and grandchildren.

Phyllis is survived by her son, Mike (Donna) Olson, Moorhead, MN; daughter, Kim (Brad Sharratt) Jackson, Minneapolis, MN; sisters, Judy Brummond, Edmonds, WA; Nancy Dougherty, Salem, OR; brother, Gary Brummond, Minneapolis, MN; grandson, CJ (Daina) Jackson; and great-grandchildren, Morgan, Caleb, and Gavin.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Greg and Brad Brummond.
