Phyllis F. Huber, 85 of Fargo, died Thursday, September 3, 2015 at ManorCare in Fargo.

Phyllis was born August 7, 1930 in Fargo to parents John and Luella (Grangaard) Myhre. She grew up on the family farm near Kindred, ND and graduated from Kindred High School. She later went on to attend Interstate Business College.

Phyllis married Helmuth “Herb” Huber at Kindred Lutheran Church on June 3, 1950. They made their home in North Fargo, where they raised three children. Phyllis was a dedicated homemaker, worked as a part time sales representative for Avon, and also worked as a proctor at Fargo North and Fargo South high schools. Phyllis and Herb enjoyed summers spent on West McDonald Lake and winters in Mesa, AZ.

Phyllis is survived by her husband, Herb Huber of Fargo; children, Peggy (Curt) Christopherson of Fargo, ND, Douglas (Carole) Huber also of Fargo, and Jeffrey (Janet) Huber of Overland Park, KS; seven grandchildren, Brian, Brad, Sara, Allison, Jon, Ben, and Jill; and four great-grandchildren, Ava, Isaac, Henry, and Walter.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorials in honor of Phyllis may be sent to Peace Lutheran Church, The American Cancer Society, or the Anne Carlsen Center.
