Phyllis Mae Hashbarger, 90, passed away on March 10, 2016 at Bethany on 42nd, Fargo, ND.
Phyllis Martin was born July 29, 1925 to John and Zelda (Kennedy) Martin in Hillsboro, ND. She attended school in Bohnsack, ND and was also a member of the women’s basketball team. After graduating, Phyllis attended Dakota Business College in Fargo.

Phyllis was united in marriage to Ralph Lloyd Hashbarger. They had five sons. She raised her five boys in West Fargo and Fargo.

Phyllis moved to Seattle, WA in 1977 where she lived for 35 years. While in Seattle she worked as a bookkeeper for Lucks Co. and also for Performance Contractors.

She returned to Fargo in August 2011 and became a resident at Bethany Homes.

She is survived by her five sons, Gary, Seattle, WA, David, Seattle, WA, Rick (Kathy), Seattle, WA, Dean (Renee), Fargo, ND, and Jay, Fargo, ND; fourteen grandchildren, Chad, Tracie, Chris, Jeff, Stephen, BeJay, Jeremy, Erin, Lara, Michael, Todd, Jennifer, Jason, and Samantha; and 24 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and five sisters, and one brother.
