Pauline (Wenino) Engebretson, 92, of Fargo, ND passed away peacefully on May 23, 2018 in Sheyenne Crossing Care Center, West Fargo.
Pauline Frances Wenino was born in Fergus Falls, MN to Walter and Agnes (Axness) Wenino on April 26, 1926. She graduated from Fergus Falls High School in 1944 and moved to Cleveland, OH to work in support of the war. She returned to Fargo a year later and worked for the Victor H. Leeby Company. She married Larry K. Engebretson on December 6, 1947. Together they made their home in Fargo, raising three children, Ricky, Michael and Lori.
Pauline worked as a cashier for the Fargo Clinic for 18 years before retiring in 1987. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church for over 60 years. Pauline participated in the Edgewood Ladies Golf Club and enjoyed playing bridge with numerous bridge club groups.
She is survived by her son, Ricky (Janna) Engebretson, Fargo, ND; her daughter, Lori (John) Sudduth, Colorado Springs, CO; grandchildren, Aaron (Stacey) Sudduth, Colorado Springs, CO, Michelle Sudduth, Pasadena, CA, Jeffrey (Beth) Engebretson, Fargo, ND, and Katie (Kyle) Wimmer, Brooklyn Park, MN; along with three great-grandchildren, Julia Sudduth, Jonathan Sudduth and Isabelle Wimmer. She also leaves numerous nieces and nephews and their families.
Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, Larry; son, Michael, and six brothers, K. Walter Wenino, Andrew Wenino, Robert Wenino, Lyle (Gene) Wenino, George Wenino, and Donald Wenino.
