Paul Gerald Pierson was born February 18, 1955 in Carrington, ND to Gerald and Harriet (Neil) Pierson. He grew up in Carrington and West Fargo, ND. He graduated from West Fargo High School in 1973. Paul enlisted in the US Navy and served for 4 years. He earned an Associate’s Degree from the North Dakota State College of Science (NDSCS) and worked for the US Post Office in Fargo as an Electronic Technician, until his disability retirement. As a child Paul loved to play sports, especially golf. Paul loved music, politics, being outside at the lake, and most of all, his family.

Paul died October 20, 2015 at Sanford Health in Fargo, ND.

He is survived by his wife, Leslie (Strand) Pierson, Fargo, ND; children: Tracey Voulgarakis, Fargo, ND, Sarah (Jason) Leucuta, Audubon, MN, Ashley (Adam) Priebnow, Moorhead, MN, and Kayla (Mitch) Taralson, West Fargo, ND; grandchildren: Brittany, Christian, Mathew, Austin, Brooklynn, Makenzie, Hollie, Pierson, Tessa Joy, and Aspen; parents, Gerald and Harriet Pierson, Fargo, ND; siblings: Harriet (Tom) Wolf, Spokane, WA, Keith (Faythe) Pierson, Detroit Lakes, MN, Joel (Margret) Pierson, Coon Rapids, MN, and Mari Beth (James) Hackett, Santa Rosa, CA; brother-in-law, William (Velva) Strand, Detroit Lakes, MN; sister-in-law, Claudia Diggs, Fargo, ND and many nieces and nephews.
