Parnell Thue, 79, of Beulah, ND, died Monday, May 5, 2008, at Sakakawea Medical Center, Hazen, ND. Parnell Gerald Donard Thue was born June 4, 1928, in Kindred, North Dakota, son of Donald and Inez (Matson) Thue. He grew up in Walcott and graduated from Walcott High School. Parnell entered the United States Marine Corps, after high school. Parnell then attended the Wahpeton, North Dakota, State School of Science, after being discharged from USMC. He married Rose Lentz August 20, 1950, in Rolla, North Dakota. Parnell is survived by his son, Keith (Karin) Springfield, OH; and two daughters, Karen Thue, Fargo, ND; and Kim (Robert) Robinson, Fargo, ND; two brothers, Donard (Carolyn) Thue, Fargo, ND; and Harold (Lillian) Thue, Mitchell, SD; sister, Delores Hart, Cecil, OH; special friend, Margie Emig, Beulah, ND; and 12 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Rose; and son, Kevin. Funeral Service: Friday, May 9, 2008, at 10:00 AM, at Our Redeemers Lutheran Church, Moorhead, MN. Visitation: Thursday, May 8, 2008, from 4:30-6:30 PM, at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, Fargo, ND. Prayer Service: Thursday, May 8, 2008, at 6:30 PM, at Hanson-Runsvold. Burial: Walcott Cemetery, Walcott, North Dakota. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Sons of Norway, and/or Our Redeemers Lutheran Church TV fund, Moorhead, MN.
