Orlin Hudson-Egge, 91 formerly of Barney, ND passed away Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Villa Maria Nursing Home surrounded by her family.

Orlin Carol Torgerson was born on November 13, 1923 to Oscar and Clara (Blilie) Torgerson. She grew up in the Comstock and Hickson areas and graduated from Comstock High School. She worked at the Kindred store for several years. On September 29, 1946 she married E. Donald Hudson. They lived and farmed in Nansen township, rural Barney, ND until 1984 when they moved to Fargo. Donald passed away in 1986. Orlin married Raymond Egge in Fargo on September 14, 1991. They lived in south Fargo until moving to Riverview Place in July of 2002. Ray passed away on March 12, 2005. Orlin lived at the Villa Maria Nursing Home for the past 4 1/2 years.

Orlin was a member of the Zion United Methodist Church, Walcott, the Zion United Methodist Women, Calvary United Methodist Church, Fargo, The Sons of Norway and the Wahpeton Eagles.

Orlin is survived by her children Cindy (Dan) Erbes Barney, ND, Kevin (Kathy) Hudson, Wahpeton, 2 grandchildren, of which she was so proud, Sarah(Corey) Kratcha, Breckenridge, MN and Josh(Kelsey) Erbes, Argusville, ND and 2 great-grandchildren who always brought a smile to her face, Charlie John and Hudson William Kratcha. Other survivors include her sisters, Marcelle Buck, Moorhead, MN, Phyllis(Verdell) Jordhiem, Walcott, ND, Sharon Kotnour, Wahpeton, ND and brothers Lyle(Maxine) Torgerson, Fargo, ND, Virgil(Arlys) Torgerson, West Fargo, ND, a sister-in-law, Kay Gnoisky of Moorhead, a sister-in-law, Arline Hudson and a brother-in-law, Gordon (Leanna) Hudson both of Fargo.

Orlin was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Donald, her husband, Ray, a brother, Duane Torgerson, 3 infant brothers, and brothers-in-law, Floyd Buck, John, James, and Clair Hudson, Erling Logan, and Tom Kotnour.
