IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Noah James
Stoutland
November 25, 1984 – November 19, 2025
Noah James Stoutland, 40 of Fargo, ND, passed away on November 19th, 2025.
Noah, son of Jim and Jane (Craik) Stoutland, was born November 25, 1984, in Fargo, ND. He was the oldest of three children. He was raised in a family full of love and laughter. Noah was a talented carpenter in a long line of Stoutland men. He enjoyed dedicating the last 22 years of his life working happily with his father in their family business.
The greatest joy Noah had ever known was being the world's best uncle to three beautiful boys with a fourth on the way. Noah would spend hours creating to-do lists for adventures to go on with his three favorite sidekicks. If one of his nephews showed interest in the smallest project, Noah spent hours researching, hunting through thrift stores, and shopping on Amazon, looking for the perfect set of Hulk Hands, Spidey Blasters, and Skateboards for their escapades. Noah couldn't have been more excited to take his twin nephews, Milo and Grady, to Monster Jam and his older nephew, Ryder, to the Foo Fighters concert. He was the best uncle there ever was or ever will be.
Noah had a Bohemian soul. There was nothing he couldn't teach himself, whether it be how to play the guitar, wake surfing, or how to become an amateur tattoo artist. Noah was a true artist, always drawing or sketching on any surface that was free.
Besides his nephews, Noah found great joy in his best friend, Gary. Gary was only three feet tall and very hairy, but Noah didn't mind. Gary was the ying to Noah's yang, jumping and barking happily while Noah's calm demeanor set everyone around him at ease. Their best days were spent at one of Noah's favorite places, the family's lake cabin in Minnesota. Gary the dog will miss his ultimate best friend very much.
The hole Noah has left in the hearts of those who knew him will never be filled. He was a fantastic son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. Anyone who had the incredible luck to meet Noah will never forget his genuine smile and infectious laugh.
Noah is survived by his parents, Jim and Jane (Craik) Stoutland; two sisters, Lauren (Jeremy) Pratschner and their twin boys, Milo and Grady Pratschner; Lizzy and her son, Ryder Stoutland, with another boy soon to arrive.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Leonard and Rozella (Grant) Stoutland and Milo and Ruby (Stende) Craik; and aunt, Sydney Salvi.
