Neil Allan Stenshoel of Fargo, ND passed away December 26, 2013, at the age of 63, in Mesa, Arizona after a 7 month battle with cancer.

Neil was born January 23, 1950, in Fargo, North Dakota to Norton and Signe (Storstad) Stenshoel. Neil graduated from Moorhead High School in 1968. He enlisted in the US Army in 1970, and at the time of his honorable discharge in 1991, he was a 1st SGT (E8).

Neil and his wife Judy (Butenhoff) were married July 31, 1971 and lived in Fargo, North Dakota. Neil worked as a lineman for Cass County Electric for 31 years, retiring in 2011. Neil spent summers at Lake Lizzie where he enjoyed bass fishing. Neil and Judy enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Neil is survived by his wife of 42 years, Judy; son, Scott (Stephanie) of West Fargo, ND; daughter, Tanya (Jeff) Ferber of Billings, MT; grandchildren, Carter and Chloe of Billings, MT; mother, Signe Brandvold of Mesa, AZ; sisters, Shirley, Ardis (Roger) Miller of Mesa, AZ, Roberta Azar of Inver Grove Heights, MN; and many beloved nieces and nephews. Neil was preceded in death by his father, Norton.
