Neil Richard Roscoe, Sr., died September 30, 2015 at Villa Maria under the care of family and Hospice of the Red River Valley.

Neil was born August 21, 1935 to John and Dorothy Roscoe, of Montpelier, ND at Jamestown Hospital. The family later moved to Dickey, ND where Neil attended school and graduated high school in 1952. He graduated Ellendale College in 1954 and attended two years at NDSU. He served two years in the military.

Neil and Eva (Millspaugh) were united in marriage on August 21, 1954 in the Dickey United Methodist Church. Together they had five children.

Neil joined the Fargo Fire Department in 1957. He served 41 years with the department, and retired as Assistant Chief.

After retirement he enjoyed driving cars for Enterprise Rental Car.

Neil is survived by his wife, Eva; five children, Neil Roscoe, Jr., Murray (Connie) Roscoe, Thomas (Kathy) Roscoe, Dean (Susanna) Roscoe and Cheryl (Brad) Naggatz; sister, Shirley (Vernon) Williams; nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren and five nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Robert Roscoe
Memorial Service: Tuesday, October 6, 2015, 6:00 PM at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, Fargo, ND.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Hospice of the Red River Valley or the Fargo-Moorhead Humane Society.
