FARGO, N.D. - Modern Man, 71, Fargo, N.D. died Friday, Mar. 14, 2025 leaving behind four siblings and legions of loyal and life-long friends, especially Stanley Hoglund, his decades-long best friend. But because of recent and serious medical issues following a lifetime of living, loving and laughing, Modern decided to leave this world under his own terms.

Leland Bruns was born April 2, 1953 to Lester and Marceline Bruns in Fargo, the fourth of five siblings: Jan Koski of SW Missouri, Roberta (Ed) Gray of SW Missouri, Patricia (Duane) Straub of Fargo and Richard (Carlotta) Bruns of Fargo. Modern was preceded in death by everyone in our family older than us.

He requested no funeral. Instead, "A Celebration of Life" will be held at The Sons of Norway in Fargo, on April 26, 2025 from 5pm - 9pm. For more information, call 232-9222.
