Mary Wateland, 66, of Fargo, ND, died Sunday, June 10, 2012, at Rosewood on Broadway, Fargo.
Mary Ann Langlie was born September 6, 1945, in Fargo, North Dakota, daughter of Arthur and Esther (Tryhus) Langlie. She attended elementary and junior high at Grace Lutheran School and graduated from Fargo High School.
She married Robert Peterson in 1967 and they moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota. They moved back to Fargo in 1969. Mary married Roger Wateland in 1972.
Mary is survived by her children, Helen (Guy) Peterson; Jim Peterson; and Kory Goulet; all of Fargo, ND; John (Sandra) Peterson, Claire City, SD; step-children, Bob; Mark (Cheryl); Dale (Jane); Leigh Wateland; Sherrie Gilb and Cindy (Steve) Telcamp, all of Minnesota; six grandchildren, Jami, Jeffrey, Keesha, Sommer, Brieanna, and Keira; her brother, Gordy (Tammy) Langlie, Fargo, ND; and sister, Eldean (Steve) Hanson, Fargo, ND.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roger; and two brothers, Daryl and Roger Langlie.
Memorial Service: Friday, June 15, 2012, at 2:00 PM, at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, Fargo, ND.
