Marlys Evelyn Hove, 87, of Fargo, ND passed away Monday, October 13, 2014 at Bethany on University.

Marlys was born on July 13, 1927 to Maurice and Min Jones in Fargo, ND. She attended school in Fargo graduating in 1945.

She was united in marriage to Robert Hove of Parshall, ND on September 21, 1946 at First Lutheran Church in Fargo. They lived on the farm and in Christine, ND for 61 years. They moved to Heritage House in Fargo in 2007 and to Riverview in 2014.

Marlys is survived by her husband of 68 years, Robert; daughter, Cathy (Scott) Fixen; sons, David (Linda) Hove, Thomas Hove, and James Hove; her grandchildren, Jennifer Jameson (Thad), Ellen Simonson, Shari Srnsky (Mike), Christopher (Andrea) Hove, Nathan Hove, Seth (Amber) Hove, Justin (Carol) Hove, and Jonah Hove; great-grandchildren, Blake Simonson, Brittany Srnsky, Brooke Srnsky and McKenzie Hove.

Marlys is also survived by her brother, Norman Jones (Eunice), Fargo; Carol Silva (George), Turlock, California; Mary Olson, Fergus Falls, MN; sister-in-law, Nancy Schafer (Ed) and sister-in-law, Arlene Perry (Joe); and many special nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Maurice Jones Jr. and a special cousin who was like a sister, Elaine Golberg.
