Mark David Paulson

Mark David Paulson, age 57, Fargo ND passed away peacefully with his loving children and beloved sister by his side on Sunday, April 29, 2018 at Sanford Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer.

Mark was born in Roseau, Minnesota May 18, 1960 to Glenn and Bernice Paulson. The family moved to Fargo, ND in 1963. During his school years, Mark enjoyed playing youth baseball and hockey. Mark graduated from Fargo North High School in 1978. After high school, he attended North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton, ND and received a degree in Electrical Technology. He worked for Stoutland Construction for several years, and also for Harold's Antennae Service before going to work for Fraser, LTD in 1989 where he worked as a property manager.

Mark enjoyed all sports and liked listening and watching sports announcers and commentators on TV and radio. He also enjoyed reading, especially WWII history books.

Mark was married to Mary Anderson on January 21, 1989. They had three children together; Amber, Brady and Amy. Mark was an exemplary father and always put his children first and foremost in his life. His children were his pride and joy. Mark was always very supportive of his children's education and all of their extracurricular school events. He had a passion for hockey and coached his son, Brady, attended all youth hockey games, cheered the teams on and made many lasting friendships. He enjoyed spending time fishing with his family at their lake cabin near Vergas, MN.

Mark and Mary were married from 1989 to 2007, and have always remained good friends. Mark met many people during his 27 year career at Fraser, LTD and was always willing to help those who were served by Fraser, LTD. Mark was well respected in the community and touched many lives with his kindness, smile and infectious laugh. He developed many great friendships with his co-workers and members of the community and had a special place in his heart for the elderly, disabled and children.

Mark was preceded in death by his mother, Bernice; brother, Jim; mother-in-law, Vonnie Anderson and brother-in-law, Greg Anderson.

He is survived by his father, Glenn Paulson, West Fargo, ND; children, Amber Paulson, Brady Paulson and Amy Paulson, all of Fargo; sister, Barb (Gordy) Johnson, Omaha, NE; brother, Don (Mary) Paulson Green Bay, WI; mother of his children and friend, Mary Bommersbach, West Fargo; nephews, Nathan Johnson, Omaha, NE, Derek (Maka) Johnson, Omaha, NE, Sean (Julie) Johnson, Fargo, ND; nephew, Isaac (Sharon) Paulson, Mountain Village, AK; niece, Monica Paulson, Chicago, IL; sister-in-law, Theresa Rauch, MI; nephew, Andy Lippincott; niece, Casey Stapleton; sister-in-law, Patsy Anderson; nephew, Jeff Anderson; niece, Hayley Anderson all of Madison, WI; nephew Nick (Tanuja) Anderson, NY; five great nephews and numerous cousins; best friend, Jay (Yvette) Kryzaniak, Willmar, MN; cherished dog, Kirby and many loving and supportive friends.
