Marguerite Severson, 101, of Fargo, ND, passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2006, at MeritCare Palliative Care in Fargo. Marguerite was born March 4, 1905, in Litchville, ND. She graduated from High School at Litchville, North Dakota, in 1918. She graduated from North Dakota Agricultural College. On December 26, 1932, she married Leonard Severson in Litchville, ND. He died in 1967. Marguerite was Executive Director of Campfire Girls in Fargo for many years. She was a Past Worthy Matron of Eastern Star. After retirement, she continued to deliver “Meals on Wheels” into her early nineties. She was a member of Plymouth Congregational Church. She is survived by one son, Don (Darlene) Severson of Detroit Lakes, MN; two daughters, Adra (Bob) Browning, St. George, UT; and Jean (Bruce) Hansen, Helena, MT; eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to Plymouth Congregational Church or American Cancer Society.
