Margaret Dorothy Tietgens' Obituary
Margaret D. Tietgens, 87, of Fargo, passed away October 14, 2013, at Sanford Health in Fargo.
Margaret was born December 10, 1925, to Nels and Helen Christiansen. She attended school in Rothsay, MN, and graduated in 1944. She was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Fargo.
On July 3, 1948, Margaret married the love of her life, Clayton, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Moorhead, MN, and they enjoyed 61 ½ years of marriage.
She is survived by her son, David (Kathy) of Fargo; daughter, Diane (Spencer) Russell of Helena, MT; sister, Fern Grandbois of Fresno, CA; brother, Leo Christiansen of Detroit Lakes, MN; five grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton.
