Lynnetta Boettcher, 92, of Fargo, ND, died Monday, March 28, 2011, at her home under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley. Lynnetta Pauline Schroeder was born July 18, 1918, in Wheatland, North Dakota, daughter of Carl and Emily (Kroll) Schroeder. In 1926, she moved with her family to Casselton, North Dakota, where she grew up and attended school, graduating in 1936. She attended Interstate Business College. She was employed as a secretary/receptionist for the state Congregational headquarters and Dr. G. A. Larson. She married John E. Boettcher in June 2, 1948 in Fargo. They lived in Arthur, North Dakota, until 1951 when they moved to Fargo. She worked as a secretary to the Dean of the Graduate School at North Dakota State University from 1963 until retiring in 1981. Lynnetta was a long time member of Olivet Lutheran Church and served on several committees. Lynnetta is survived by her two sons, Tom (Susan) Boettcher, Crystal, MN; Keith (Linda) Boettcher, Colorado Springs, CO; and two grandchildren, Emily (Doug) Glimmerveen and Becky Boettcher; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John in 1998; son, Paul in 1999; and three sisters, Elizabeth Dahl, Hattie Iverson and Irmgard Boettcher. Memorials are preferred to Olivet Quilters or Olivet radio broadcast. Funeral Service: Friday, April 1, 2011, at 5:00 PM, at Olivet Lutheran Church, Fargo, ND. Visitation: Thursday, March 31, 2011, from 5-7 PM, at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, Fargo. Burial: Riverside Cemetery, Fargo, ND.
