Lucille Ann Sundet

Lucille Ann Sundet, 86, of Fargo, died Saturday, August 19, 2017 in Sanford Medical Center, West Fargo, ND, surrounded by her family.

Lucille Ann (Marple) Sundet was born September 25, 1930 near Wendell, MN, daughter of Laurence and Opal (Lacey) Marple. She attended high school in Morris, MN. In 1947 she moved to Fargo where she met and married Kenneth Sundet, September 19, 1954. They lived on the Sundet farm near Hickson, ND until September, 2011 when they moved to Fargo.
Lucille worked at the Veteran’s Administration in Fargo, ND. She retired October 31, 1994.

Lucille enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, and needle work. She was a member of the local book club and was an active member of the Hickson Lutheran Church. Her true happiness was cherishing her family and friends, always offering encouragement and kind words.

Lucille is survived by her two sons, Neal (Deb) Sundet, and Mark (Beth) Sundet of Fargo, ND, and her three daughters, Penny (Al) Hagen, New Richland, MN, Sharon Johnson, Eden Prairie, MN, and Joy Sundet, St. Louis Park, MN, nine grandchildren, and three great grandchildren, two brothers, Stanley (Bea) Marple, Cold Springs, MN, Virgil (Theresa) Marple, Maple Plain, MN, and her sisters in law Alice (Garberg) Marple, Kennewick, WA, and Elizabeth Simonson, Fargo, ND.

She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and her brother, Leroy.
