Lowell A. Langehaug, 71, of Lake Bronson, MN, died Monday, October 15, 2012 at the VA Hospital, Fargo, ND.
Lowell was born February 25, 1941 in Lake Hebron, MN to Martin and Amy (Danielson) Langehaug. After graduating from high school, he went onto college. He attended and graduated from Southern Illinois University majoring in Botany and Zoology. He worked for several years as an Insurance Adjustor in the St. Louis area.
He decided to serve his country and join the United States Army. After he was discharged, he pursued other interests. He moved back home in 1978 to be near family in Lake Bronson. In 1998, he moved to Fargo and lived at Moorhead Manor and then he resided at Rosewood on Broadway.
Lowell had a good sense of humor and always tried to lighten bad situations with his wit.
Lowell is survived by his brothers, Rolf (Kay), Dekalb, IL and Daniel (Patricia) Langehaug, Lake Bronson, MN; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
