Lorraine Kennedy, 92, of Fullerton, ND, passed away November 6, 2023, at Bethany on University, Fargo, ND, with family by her side under hospice care.

Lorraine was born September 12, 1931, to Herman and Edith (Preston) Fischer and graduated from LaMoure High School in 1949. She was united in marriage to Joseph (Joe) Kennedy on December 1, 1950. Joe and Lorraine took over Joe's family farm, where they farmed side by side for over 65 years together. Lorraine was very devoted to her family, and she will be forever missed by them.

She is survived by her son, Steve (Renee) Kennedy of Fargo, ND; daughter, Laurie (Mark) O'Heir of Dana, IN; five grandchildren, Jocelyn (Nathan) Pollard, Shane (Chelsie) Kennedy, Nicole Estes, Mason Kennedy, and Jessica (Levi) Keenen. Four great-grandchildren, Ainsley and Haddie Kennedy, and Grace and Gabriel Pollard. Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband, Joe.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
