Lori Lee (Becker) Luthi, 53, Moorhead, MN passed away peacefully Wednesday, June 6, 2012 in Sanford Hospital in Fargo. She was surrounded by her family as she went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Lori was born March 16, 1959, in Bismarck, ND, to Lee and Donna Becker. She grew up in Fargo and graduated from Fargo North High School in 1977. Lori received her nursing degree from North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton, ND in 1979. Later, she was employed by St. Luke’s Hospital and Hospice of the Red River Valley. On April 23, 1985, Lori married Paul Luthi. They made their home in Moorhead, MN. Lori was a loving wife and devoted mother to her children and also helped with the family businesses, Maranatha Books and Three Bears Honey, Co.
The most important decision Lori made was in 1981, when she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. Lori was known for her great love for people and passion for ministry. Through the years, she was involved in numerous ministries at First Assembly of God church, including singing in the choir, jail ministry and hosting Bible study groups in their home. She loved prayer meetings. She enjoyed playing piano, biking, reading, baking, attending birthday club and selling honey and her own bees-wax candles at farmers markets and of course, going for walks with the family dog, Buddy. She always had time for coffee with her family and friends. Lori loved to joke around and have fun; her smile would light up any room.
Lori is survived by her husband, Paul; her sons, Samuel Luthi (Jaclyn), Fargo, ND; Travis Luthi, Moorhead, MN; Jesse Luthi, Moorhead, MN; her step-son, Paul Andrew Luthi, Talent, OR; her mother, Donna Becker, West Fargo, ND; and a sister and two brothers, Michelle Hanson (Cliff), Argusville, ND; Brett Becker (Trina), Fargo, ND; and Chris Becker (Tammy), Moorhead, MN.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lee Becker.
Through her long illness, Lori kept a strong faith and positive outlook. She was a great example and inspiration to all of us. Lori was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and friend. We love you. You will be dearly missed.

Visitation will take place on Sunday, June 10, 2012 from 5-7pm, with a prayer service following at 7pm, at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home in Fargo.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 11, 2012 at 10:00am at First of Assembly of God church in Fargo. There will also be a visitation at the church, prior to the service, at 9:00am.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Fargo.
