Lloyd L Erickson died of cancer on Monday, December 31, 2007 at age 83 in Elim Care Center, Fargo. Lloyd and his wife, Virginia, recently celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary on December 20. Raised in Valley City, ND, Lloyd went on to serve in the United States Army in World War II in both the European and Pacific theaters. In 1946, he married Virginia Jones in Valley City, ND. Lloyd retired from a 34 year career with Northwestern Bell in 1986. Lloyd is survived by his wife, Virginia; two daughters, Pamela McGuire, Patti (David) Hegland; and one son, David (Patricia) Erickson; and one granddaughter, Anne (Ray) Yau. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Hazel Erickson, and two brothers, Larry and LeRoy. A private family service will be held at Riverside Cemetery, Fargo.
