Leonicio “Leo” Romo of Moorhead, MN at the age of 61, earned his wings to be with his Lord and savior on November 7, 2017.

Leo was born March 10, 1957 in Mexico to Maria Tobar and Leonicio Romo. Leo was baptized and confirmed into the Christian faith at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He went to school until 4th grade.

Maria and Leonicio were united in marriage June 10, 1976. In 1991 they moved to Stephen, MN. From this union four children were born: Carlos Romo, of Moorhead, Gloria Romero and her husband Ray Romero, Rene Leonicio Romo and his wife Amanda Romo of Crookston, MN, and Marcos Romo of Crookston, MN.

Together Leo and Maria were able to share nearly 40 years of married bliss.

Leo is survived by his loving wife and life partner; Leo’s son, Carlos, Rene Marcos and daughter, Gloria and nine grandchildren; his sister and two brothers.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister; and grandson.
