Lavonne Mae Kabanuk-Abel, born June 26th 1947, in Minot, North Dakota to Arthur and Florence Kabanuk, died peacefully in her home on June 27th in Fargo, North Dakota, at the age of 68.

Lavonne is survived by her husband, Alvin (Al) Abel of Fargo,ND; son, Jeffrey Trangsrud of Rock Hill SC; and daughters, Tammy Trangsrud of St.Paul MN, and Kirsten Snyder of Stafford VA. Grandchildren include Destiny, Amber, Alisha, Carly, Andrew, Madelyn, Richard, Tristen, Seth, and Chase. Great grandchildren include CJ, Natalie, and Maelynn. She is also survived by her mother, Florence Soltis of Minot, ND; brother, Elliott Kabanuk of Fargo ND, and sister, Pamela Everson of Minot, ND.

Lavonne was preceded in death by her father, Arthur Kabanuk of Minot ND.

Lavonne was a wonderful person who touched the lives of everyone she met. She will forever be in our hearts.
