Laura McCrory, 101, Fargo, ND; died Monday, May 5, 2008 at Elim Care Center, Fargo, ND. Laura Kyes McCrory was born February 1, 1907, at Linton, North Dakota, to Wallice and Maria (Lee) Kyes. She married Ted McCrory in June 1930. She held a Ph.B. degree from the University of Chicago (1929) and taught Home Economics at Linton and Halliday, North Dakota. She held a M.P.H/ degree (1943) from the University of Michigan. She was employed at Minneapolis and Tacoma, WA. City Health Departments; ND State Department of Health; Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Harrisburg; Fife-Hamil Health Center, Philadelphia; Farm Security Administration, Bismarck; Bureau of Indian Affairs, Aberdeen, SD; and State of Wisconsin, Madison. She leaves her son, Jack (Jo)McCrory, West Fargo, ND; grandson, Mic (Pam) McCrory, Bemidji, MN; and granddaughter, Wendy Clarin, West Fargo, ND; and five great-grandchildren, T.J/, Vicki, Jayci, Brock McCrory; and Mariah Clarin. Memorial Service: Thursday, May 8, 2008 at 2:00pm; Elim Care Center, Fargo, ND. Visitation: One hour prior to the service.
