LaDonna Quinton

September 30, 1969 — June 19, 2025

Ladonna M. Quinton passed away peacefully at Monument Hospice House in Rapid City, SD, on June 19, 2025, after battling stage four metastatic breast cancer for four years. LaDonna was born in Fargo, ND on September 30, 1969 to Donald and Darlene Bauske. She attended Fargo Public Schools and graduated from Fargo North High School in 1988.

LaDonna met her late husband, Terry Wilm, in Fargo, ND and the couple had three sons, Nicholas, Nathan and Lucas. Terry was taken by brain cancer in 2015. LaDonna met her second husband Corey Quinton in Fargo, ND in early 2017 and the couple was married in October of 2018. They made their home in Fargo until moving to the Black Hills area in the summer of 2024. Corey and LaDonna bought a home outside of Piedmont, SD where they lived happily with their dogs Sophie and Knox.

LaDonna was full of life and very active. She had a passion for walking and hiking with her dogs, running, working out and golf. In only her second year of golfing she scored a hole-in-one at Rose Creek Golf Course in Fargo, ND. Ladonna's children were the focus of her life and she was intensely proud of each of them. She and her husband Corey loved each other's company and enjoyed traveling, concerts and finding new restaurants. During her life LaDonna worked as a paraprofessional educator at Kennedy Elementary and Davies High School. She touched the lives of many children in that capacity and was proud of the work she performed.

LaDonna was pre-deceased by her late husband, Terry Wilm and her parents, Donald and Darlene Bauske. She is survived by her husband, Corey and her three boys, Nick, Nate and Luke. She will be dearly missed by her brother, Ray Bauske and her sister-in-law, Connie Cleveland, along with her nephews, Mitch and Matt and her niece, Claire, along with their families. She was close to, and will be missed by, her step-children, Mitchell and Jake and their wives, and her absence will be keenly felt by her grandson, Samuel, to whom she was devoted. Likewise, she was close to Corey's mother, Mary Carey and her brothers-in-law, Chris, Joe and Clay, and her sister-in-law, Judy who will miss her presence in their lives.

LaDonna was a kind and loving person and had a great sense of humor and will be missed by all she came into contact with throughout her life. Her courage and grace in fighting cancer are an inspiration to all who knew her. A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home at 2 p.m. on June 28, 2025 and a social gathering will be held that same day from 4-7 p.m. at Herds and Horns in Fargo, ND.
