Kristi Green

Kristi Marie (Auren) Green, 79, of Fargo, ND, died Thursday, May 14, 2009, at ManorCare, Fargo. Kristi was born October 26, 1929, in Cooperstown, North Dakota, the daughter of Gilbert and Mabel (Pramhus) Auren. She attended school in Cooperstown. She moved to Seattle, WA, in 1950, and worked in food preparation for Marshall Fields until 1980. On June 10, 1960, she married Bernard Green in Seattle. After Kristi’s retirement in 1980, she and Ben moved to Fargo, North Dakota, where they worked as caretakers in an apartment complex. Kristi is survived by step-children, Wade (Mariko) Green, Bainbridge Island, WA; and Marcy Parks, Seattle, WA; and her grandniece and nephew, Jennifer Hefta and Jeremy Hefta, Auburn, WA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ben; parents; brothers, Vernon and Gilman Auren; step-brothers, Harold and Marvin Hilstrom; and nieces, Lana and Linda Hilstrom. Funeral Service: Tuesday, May 19, 2009, at 10:30 AM, at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, Fargo, ND. Visitation: One hour prior to the service at Hanson-Runsvold. Burial: Riverside Cemetery, Fargo, ND.
