Konnie Chaffee

Konnie Jean Chaffee died Sunday, May 6, 2012, in her home in south Fargo, but her new home is now in Heaven. Konnie was born in Crookston, MN, on January 18, 1973. She lived there until 1979, when her family moved to Fargo, ND. She was in 1st grade at the time, attending McKinley grade school through 6th grade. She then attended Ben Franklin Jr. High and graduated from Fargo North in 1991. Konnie worked at Dawson Insurance in Fargo for 14 years where she enjoyed her job and fellow co-workers immensely. Through her position in the Life Department, she met many wonderful people. With her effervescent smile and happy attitude, she was able to bond well with her clients. Konnie loved being with her family and friends. She grew up watching her brothers, Lee and Kurt, play hockey for the Fargo North Spartans and was their number one fan. She also enjoyed watching her nieces, Stephanie and Brittany, during their basketball careers. Konnie also loved to go to Red Hawks and Vikings games. Konnie Jean is survived by her parents, Mark and Jean Chaffee of Fargo; her sister, Lora and Tim Mayclin of Bemidji, MN, along with their children, Stephanie and Brittany Mayclin of Moorhead, MN; her brother, Lee Chaffee of Crookston, MN; and brother, Kurt and Lisa Chaffee, along with their children, Karlee, Naomi, Evan, Emilie, and Eli, of Bismarck, ND. Konnie was preceded in death by her grandparents. Visitation will take place on Thursday, May 10, 2012 from 5-7pm with a prayer service following at 7pm at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home located at 215 7th Street South in Fargo. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 11, 2012, at 10:30am at Bethel Free Church located at 2702 30th Avenue South in Fargo, with a lunch following the service. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, 2102 5th Street South, in Fargo.
