Ken Wisk, 77, of Fargo, ND, died peacefully on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at Villa Maria Nursing Home, Fargo.
Kenneth Marvin Wisk was born April 14, 1937 in Twin Valley, MN to Fred and Ella (Haganah) Wisk. He grew up and attended school in Twin Valley, where he graduated from high school. He mainly worked in construction, and also drove school bus for many years. He was the payloader operator for FM Ready-Mix for many years, retiring in 1991. He met Delores Domier Aamold in 1962, and they moved to Fargo, ND in 1964. On September 16, 1964 they got married. They lived in San Jose, CA; Billings, MT; and Bismarck, ND; later settling in Fargo.
Ken enjoyed spending time outside as well as traveling places in the car. He especially loved being a grandfather and teasing his grandchildren.
Ken is survived by his children, Pam (Bill) Thurston, Bismarck, ND; Diane Ruud, Horace, ND; step-children, Laurel Ruport, Superior, WI; Karen (Gary) Jensen-Cook, Fargo, ND; Clyde (Gail) Aamold, Bismarck, ND; Darrell Aamold, Plymouth Falls, OR; Renee (Jim) Baumiller, Bismarck, ND; Roslyn (Randy) Jensen, Spanawy, WA; Wayne (Judy) Aamold, Luck, WI; 27 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; sisters, Lorraine and Beatrice.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Delores; parents; three brothers; and step-son, Lloyd Aamold.
