Kenneth R. Pier, 69, Fargo, died June 2, 2013 at Villa Maria in Fargo. The son of Dorothy Ramberg Pier, born in New Jersey, Ken was raised in Germany, Hutchinson, MN and Fargo, ND. He graduated from Fargo Central in 1962 and last summer thoroughly enjoyed his 50th class reunion. Ken attended NDSU and was an extreme Bison football fan. He married Connie Pranke and they had two sons, Joel and Erik.

Ken valiantly battled MS for 40 years and had been recently cared for by loving staff at the Villa Maria in Fargo.

Ken is survived by his sons, Joel and Erik; his special Aunt, Jean Merrick; and cousin, John Merrick.
