June Tharaldson

June Tharaldson, 86, of Fargo, ND, died Wednesday, December 1, 2010, at Villa Maria, Fargo. June Grace Mielke was born June 12, 1924, baptized and confirmed in Marion, North Dakota, daughter of Theodore and Emma (Manecke) Mielke. She moved to Dazey, North Dakota, during her high school years, and graduated from Dazey High School. June married Russel Tharaldson November 29, 1942, in Moorhead, Minnesota. They lived in Dazey until 1968, when they moved to Fargo. In 1969, they moved to South St. Paul, Minnesota, where June worked for Target and Farm Credit Services in food service. They returned to Fargo in 1995. Russel died in 2001. June moved to Waterford in 2001 and Villa Maria in 2006. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church. June is survived by her six children, Colleen (Eldo) Haugen, Hannaford, ND; Gary (Connie) Tharaldson, Las Vegas, NV; Rodney (Mary) Tharaldson, Albert Lea, MN; Roger (Sue) Tharaldson, Fargo, ND; Cleone (Steve) Nitti, Scandia, MN; and Delphine (Tom) Nauer, Park Rapids, MN; her nineteen grandchildren, Troy (Jill) Haugen; Lynn (Dawn) Haugen; Michelle (Jeff) LeMaster; Matthew (Tracy) Tharaldson; Jason (Brigitta) Tharaldson; Mitchell (Paulina) Tharaldson; Michael Tharaldson; Danielle Tharaldson; Bobbi Tharaldson; Gary Tharaldson II; Grant Tharaldson; Ryan Tharaldson; Jennifer Tharaldson; Joslynn Tharaldson; Jill Tharaldson; John Nitti; Lisa Nitti; Angela Oaks, Natalie Nauer; 13 great-granchildren, Zachariah, Jacob, Ethan, Aiden, Levi, Joey, Sam, Tanner, Brady, Isabella, Lucy, Kayla, Jace; sisters-in-law, Phyllis Quick; Geri Tharaldson; Delores Tharaldson; Doris Tharaldson; brothers-in-law, Jim Dahl; Jim (Carol) Tharaldson; Morris (Annie) Tharaldson; Johnnie Strunk. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Russel; six brothers; and two sisters. Funeral Service: Monday, December 6, 2010, at 10:30 AM., at St. John Lutheran Church, Fargo, ND. Visitation: Sunday, December 5, 2010, from 5-7 PM, with a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM, at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, Fargo, ND. Burial: 3:00PM, Monday, Dazey Cemetery, Dazey, North Dakota.
