June Delores Hedstrom
June 13, 1925 — October 7, 2019
June Hedstrom, 94, of Fargo, ND, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 7, 2019 at Bethany on University.
June Delores Olson entered this world on June 13, 1925 in Northwood, ND, born to Oluf and Ragna (Sorum) Olson. She attended school in Northwood, ND. June married Alden “Al” Hedstrom on March 12, 1950. She worked with Al farming and in their music business in Aneta, ND. While in Aneta she was very active in the community.
When they moved to Fargo in 1983, she worked at Atonement Lutheran for several years as the secretary while continuing to help Al with his music endeavors. She was an active member of the Eastern Star in both Aneta and Fargo.
June loved spending time with her grandkids and great-grandkids, and generally visiting with family and friends.
June is survived by her daughters, Denise (Tim)Jensen, Fargo, ND and Jill (Michael) Josepher, Blue Springs, MO; son, Doug (Jolene) Hedstrom, West Fargo, ND; grandchildren, Ryan (Kristin) Jensen, April (Tony) Rabideaux, Lauren Hedstrom, Leah Hedstrom, and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Al; five sisters and four brothers.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, October 14, 2019, 2:00 pm at the Mavis Whiting Chapel at Bethany on University in Fargo. Visitation will be one hour prior.
Entombment: Sunset Memorial Gardens Columbarium, Fargo, ND
